Prof. Alexandra Everhart Sickler is the Archie Unterseher Endowed Professor of Law at the University of North Dakota School of Law, where she teaches contracts, bankruptcy, and commercial law courses. Before joining UND, Professor Sickler was a trial attorney with the U.S. Trustee Program in Washington, D.C. While there, she litigated civil enforcement matters arising in consumer bankruptcy cases. Before that, she practiced bankruptcy and complex commercial litigation in the Washington, D.C. office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP and clerked for the Honorable S. Martin Teel, Jr., U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Columbia. Professor Sickler earned her B.A. from the College of William and Mary and her J.D. with high honors from The George Washington University Law School, where she was named to the Order of the Coif and was an Articles Editor for The George Washington International Law Review.
