Nancy Isaacson is a partner with Greenbaum Rowe Smith & Davis LLP in Roseland, N.J., where she focuses her practice on bankruptcy and insolvency, with an emphasis on trustee and creditor rights law. She also serves as a chapter 7, chapter 11 and subchapter V trustee for debtors in federal bankruptcy proceedings, and has represented appellants in cases before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Isaacson been involved in a number of large bankruptcy matters representing tort claimants and landlords. In addition, she is an approved mediator for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. Ms. Isaacson began her career as a litigator, and she has experience in complex commercial litigation. She received the 2018 IWIRC-NJ Woman of the Year Award from the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation New Jersey Network, is rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Bankruptcy and Creditor/Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law and Litigation - Bankruptcy practice areas and New Jersey Super Lawyers for Bankruptcy: Business and Business Litigation practice areas since 2011. Ms. Isaacson is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Section and the Association of the Federal Bar of New Jersey’s Consumer Practice Subcommittee. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Isaacson received her B.A. in 1978 from Rutgers University and her J.D. in 1985 from Seton Hall University School of Law.
